All the way from Bikaner in Rajasthan, our in-house Sous Chef , Maharaj Om Prakash Purohit has over 15 years of experience with planning wedding menus! Please ask for his 'Khatirdari' meal package , which boasts of 150 food items in a single day, specially designed for the Sangeet or Reception dinner at Marwadi weddings. A versatile choice of menus are available including specialized vegetarian, Gujarati, Rajasthani, Marwari, North Indian, Jain and Chinese delicacies, which are prepared in an exclusive vegetarian kitchen.

Meet Our Director of Culinary!

Chef Umesh Gupta, the Director of Culinary at Discover Resorts, boasts three decades of experience in the hotel industry, he holds a three-year diploma in hotel management and catering technology, alongside a bachelor's degree in science.

Chef Umesh's career began with Holiday Inn as a Management Trainee, and he has since contributed his expertise to prestigious hotel chains such as the Taj Group, Starwood-Le Meridien, Pride Group of Hotels, The Corinthians Resort and Club, and The Umrao Delhi.

At Discover Resorts, he oversees all culinary operations, delivering a symphony of flavors, mouth-watering street food, and innovative dishes that respect authentic traditions.
